Terrain Two Point Oh Yeah!

Here's a shot of the terrain upgrade in progress deep in the donjon at Chateau d' Amok, to prove to The Baron that I'm "gettin' to it."

This upgrade takes us from Terrain One Point Oh My. . .

to Terrain Two Point Oh Yeah!

In addition, the good folk at Renaissance Ink hooked me up with some thin profile, beveled masonite bases, complete with magnetic bottoms, for my Jenkins figures. The masonite has a great "woodsy" color feel that works really well with the terrain. Now all my "little guys" stand tall -  even in the Rough.

Come see us at Recruits!

  1. Good. That was the one and only complaint I heard about your last game. "The figs kept falling over". Babies.

  2. I know, right? Well, I knew going in that it might be an issue, but didn't have time for the obvious fix.

  3. thank god the guys stand on their own now. I was worried about them falling ver all the time. and that terrain looks ace. I need to find some shorter bear fur for my 15mm. does he do that?

  4. and just to be a dick. Roads before the car didn't have the two tracks with center green grass. Most were just dirt. the center was almost always gone because thats where everyone walked and most carts were single hitched or hitched in line not tandem. Just sayin.

  5. Thanks, Dick, I mean, Addict : )

Critique noted and accepted. I went light on the grass in the center of the roads, and since I plan to use this terrain as generic all the way up to the 20th Century, I think I can live with it.

The first JG "pasture" mat that I bought actually had shorter overall fur with some wispy stuff left long, that if shortened would probably work for you. Just tell the nice man what you want . . .

  6. Yes, flexibility is best.

I may try to make my own first. And then when that fails, I may buy one of his mats. A little pricey, but they are great.
